Always Make Time For You..........

Hi Bloggers and Google+ Friends.

Its been a few months since I've posted, but I am back today with renewed energy and motivational inspiration for you all.

Do You Make Time For Yourself?

Yes or No

It is so important in our lives to make time for ourselves.
Easier said than done I hear you say, especially if you are a full time mummy, or daddy, a carer, or do you have jobs that are so busy that all your hours are taken up?

No matter what, making time for yourself is the key to having a stress-free, few moments away where you and only you are the uppermost important.

Even if it is only 5 - 10 minutes per day, it is time that you will be so thankful for.  Run a bath, and surround yourself with candles, Relax and pour a drink, go for a walk, or give yourself a deserved break by taking time out of your normal daily routine.   Shopping, even if only for retail therapy and you don't purchase anything.  Join a Group, make time to see a friend that you dont get to see often.

Yes, it is hard.......... But Important ........

I have made 2016 my year to do exactly this, as often and as much as possible.

So far, So Good.  Only in February, and I can say I am pleased with the results, and with it brings good feelings, positive thoughts, gratefulness, thankfulness and gratitude.

So Beginning Today, Make Time for You.

I would really love to hear your thoughts on this my friends.

Have a Good Day x

Denise :)

Winter has Arrived.

Hi Everyone,

Again, another month has gone by and just flown since i last posted on this Blog.

I just want to thank everyone that supported our Charity Climb in September, our final letter of recognition and our Certificate arrived in the post last week, and we raised an amazing £697 for Alzheimer's Research UK, which we are so proud.

It is the time of year when we think about cozy evenings in, log fires, warmth, hot chocolate, and the beauty of all the Autumn colours as the seasons change.

October has been a special month for us also, sharing a lovely weekend break with friends on the lovely Isle of Anglesey in a quaint cottage.  Appreciating life, time out, picking Sloe's together and blackberries.  Spending Lazy Days talking, eating, drinking, laughing, and sharing.

Last weekend we had the pleasure of a weekend visit off our Son, Matthew who lives in London.  We were able to have special family time together with his younger sister and her partner, and all go out for a family lunch.   It's all about making memories count.....

This weekend approaching is nearing the end of the month, and November will then be upon us once again.
If you love all that Halloween brings (its not for me), enjoy, but also take care if your out Trick or Treating.  If you are venturing to Bonfire Parties, take extra care in your surroundings, with fireworks, and naked flames.

Wishing you all a Blessed Month, and Onwards and Upwards into November.

 Denise :) xx

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Well it has been almost a month since my last Blog.
I have been very busy with a Holiday break away with family, plus I have just last week completed a Charity Mountain Climb for Alzheimer's Research UK.

This wasn't easy for me, as I am still struggling with my weight, and trying to get fitter and healthier.  With the support of my Walking Buddy who gave up time so i could go out Hiking with him, to train for this, I do feel really blessed to have actually got to the Summit.

This has Inspired me to want to do more.........

I WANT TO GET FITTER............
I WANT TO LOSE MORE WEIGHT.............
I WANT TO LIVE A MORE HEALTHY LIFESTYLE.............

I WANT TO DO MORE WALKS/HIKES LIKE THIS FOR OTHER CHARITIES..................

I know there is nothing stopping me from doing all of the above, Only My own WillPower, and Determination to see them through.........

Here are few photos of my Snowdon Climb from last Wednesday (16th Sept).  I would love feedback too of anybody else that has done anything like this, and how it made them feel......  Any Tips for future Hikes also, regarding keeping a healthy lifestyle would be really appreciated.

Our Mount Snowdon Climb 2015

It was a fabulous feeling to reach the Top............ No words can describe the feeling you get when you Achieve something, you never dreamed was possible, and more, something I have never done before.

We are extremely proud to have raised the money we have so far for Alzheimer's Research UK, we are keeping our fundraising page open for another few weeks to try and reach our Target of £1,000.  If you would like to donate to this Charity, we would be very grateful.  Every single £1 raised goes towards more Research for this very debilitating disease, of which is very close to both our hearts.

'Living For Today'

Living For Today

Good Morning Everyone.  After what feels like an emotional few weeks with family health and personal problems, and a very close friend's death, its time for me to get back on track with my blogging.

It is in times like these, that you take stock and really appreciate what you have a little more than perhaps you did before (this is true for me).

I am always a very positive person, but when rough times come upon us, we very easily fall back into some negativity, about the why me?, what have i done to deserve this?

Its the Wake Up Call sometimes we need to focus on what is truly important.

I dont know about YOU, but sometimes i need to read quotes like these above, to give me the SHAKE i need, and remind me of who I am, and what I have....

and this Quote is one of my favorites because its so true.  Its not about money, and material things we collect but Family, Friends, A Roof, Food, and more importantly Love.....

I would love to hear from you about what keeps you going in tough times!

Enjoy your Monday, and there is always a reason to Be Thankful <3

My Charity Climb

Hi Everyone,

Sorry i havent blogged for a while.  Ive had a very busy few months with family happenings, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, personal, and health related things.

We can never get back time.......

I have been training since February of this year, with a close friend, Walking Buddy.  I have set myself a Challenge to Climb Mount Snowdon in September, for a Charity that is very close to my heart.

I am fundraising for Altzheimer's Research UK.

I would love my fellow bloggers and friends to support me, in my Dream to Achieve the Target I have set to raise for this Charity.

Every Pound raised makes all the difference to the Research into this very debilitating disease.

This hasn't been easy for me, as i have only every done walking on the flat before, a local circuit close to my home.  So there have been many ups and downs whilst training.  I have climbed some steep hills and I am proud of what ive achieved so far.  With the weekly support of my Buddy, I know I can do this.

You can Help and Sponsor me by clicking on my Link above, in the purple text above my photos.

Thank you for followinbg my Blogs and for all your support.

Much Love to Each One of You.

Wednesday, 10 June 2015

Hi Everyone,

Good Morning on this Wednesday 10th June..........  The summer is approaching fast, and the sunshine is regaling us in small doses, much more needed.

Today's Blog is on London.

I spent a lovely Sunday in our Capital.  The Trip was a surprise visit for my eldest daughter Rachel for her 30th treat, to see her Brother Matthew who lives in Canary Wharf and also to do a Tour, stopping for refreshment as and when.

It was a glorious day, hot and sunny, blue skies, we could not have wished for better.

We arrived just before lunch after a long drive from Manchester. Off loaded at Matthew's Apt, and then went straight out to The Wharf and onto a Thames Clipper for a Thames Ride round to Southbank.

Rachel hadn't been here before so was very excited and overwhelmed at the beauty all around.

We got off at Enbankment and walked over the bridge to Southbank.  This is my favourite walk along the Thames, past all the street food villages, and stalls.

Stopping here for a light lunch, and a much needed cold beer :)
Fabulous Food in a Perfect Location.....  What more could one ask for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long walk meandering through, over bridges, crossing from one side to another to take in views and capture photos.
A fabulous time was had.  We ended our evening back in Canary Wharf, after refreshing ourselves and changing clothes, at a lovely restaurant on The Wharf, 28 West.  Great food, service, perfect ending.
A lovely walk back after our Dinner just as the lights of the City were coming on, bringing a whole new look to everything around.  Fantastic :)  A very memorable Day xxx
I hope you enjoy reading my Blog as much as I enjoyed my Trip and quality time with family.

Please share and comment below also, I would love your thoughts too.

Hello Everyone,

Well I cant believe almost a month has gone by, and another Bank Holiday Weekend is upon us.

Hope your all enjoying your time, whatever your plans, whether your at home, or away, or even working....

I enjoy my Saturday spent outdoors on an adventure to wales, visited a friend and took in the beauty and partook in a coastal walk on Anglesey.

The beauty of Holyhead Mountain and Breakwater Coastal Path.  I love the Pink that surrounds the floor.
